PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE CITIZENS GROUP

Get Involved: Pedestrian & Bicycle Citizens’ Group

A citizens group meets with the city staff on the first Monday of odd-numbered months at the Durant Center (1605 Cameron St, Alexandria, Va. 22302. For a map, click here.) These meetings are an opportunity for citizens to advocate for the needs of pedestrians and bicyclists and for city staff to share information pertinent to programs, projects and plans.

The Durant Center is a short walk from King Street Metro which is accessible by DASH, MetroBus and Fairfax Connector buses. Click here for transit options. Covered bicycle parking is available at King Street Metro and bicycle parking is available at the Boyle Street entrance of Jefferson-Houston Elementary School which is next door to the Durant Center.
